OG&E (the Oklahoma Electricity provider) still sends me e-mails of the following day's electricity price (I still like to keep up with things over there) and I have just been notified that it will be at the high rate of 42 cents per kilowatt hour tomorrow. It must be jolly hot, I don't think I have ever known it that high. For weeks and weeks it has been 19 cents and I thought that was high.
I am glad I am no longer bearing the high cost of keeping cool. This has been the hottest day this year, but I have been perfectly comfortable in my modern apartment, even without air conditioning. There is a lot of marble about which helps keep it cool.
