Since the last post we have had heavy rain which washed away the snow, and today Thursday has been very bright and sunny although cold.
It was St Andrew's Carol Service this morning followed by Christmas lunch at a nearby hotel, and it was all very nice, the lunch and the fellowship.
While I was at the church I picked up a little booklet 'Four Kinds of Christmas, Which Are You?
The part which caught my attention was on the subject of Santa, suggesting he doesn't really give gifts but performance related bonuses. You might have heard this jingle.
He's making a list And checking it twice
Gonna find out who is naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He knows when you are sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows when you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
It has been suggested this could be the North Korean national anthem.
