Have just had a WONDERFUL couple of days - LOTS of love and laughter. Youngest son James and Naomi picked me up on Friday morning and took me to Jeremy's in Oxted, Surrey where we enjoyed being together with their children, Pearl and Doris. We went out to dinner, walking down Oxted High Street admiring the spectacular Christmas decorations on the way, then had a similarly good day today when we were joined by my sister Pat and Jeremy's good friend Janet. James and Naomi and family brought me home this evening, and now have a long drive back to their home in Leicester in the Midlands - an hour and a half, and on our roads that's quite a drive - so I do appreciate very much all that has been done for me.
Tomorrow, I will go to St Andrews, and on Christmas Day Jeremy and Janet are coming to Oxford and we are going out to lunch.
