Prince Charles recently made history, passing a landmark milestone to become the longest-serving Prince of Wales in history, with 59 years, one month and 15 days on the job.
The record was previously held by his ancestor, Edward VII, son of another long-reigning monarch — Queen Victoria — who became King on January 22, 1901.
Charles, 68, was invested as the Prince of Wales by his mother Queen Elizabeth in 1969 at Caernarfon Castle when he was 20 years old (and I remember that on our little black and white telly).
And is seems Kate is making waves in the Royal Family, it is said she teamed up with Dr. Oz to create a skincare product that works and although it didn't make skincare giants like L'Oreal and Olay happy, it makes normal people happy because it's excitingly effective, safe, and cheap! I kept looking at that item and thinking "am I reading this right, the Duchess of Cambridge is running a business?" I know I have memory issues but surely April Fools Day hasn't crept up on me.
I didn't go to church this morning because Tim is away and it was very wet out, so I didn't want to take any chances of slipping on the wet leaves, so have just stayed indoors reading and doing jigsaws on the computer - which I tell myself is keeping my mind sharp, ha.
I came across this on the internet - “the rainfall rates associated with Harvey were likely made more intense by anthropogenic climate change.” I just asked myself "how many people reading that know the meaning of "anthropogenic" I had no idea.
