It has been a very bright sunny afternoon and I would have liked to have gone to the 6 o'clock service this evening, but sadly I didn't even make it to the 8 o'clock with Tim. I am in too much discomfort to leave the hot water bottle which is giving me some relief from my back pain. Which, by the way, is called 'polymyalgia rheumatica', defined as an 'inflammatory disorder that causes muscle pain and stiffness'.
So I have crossed that threshold from being a normally fit healthy person, to someone permanently less than fit. I am hoping though that with the medications prescribed I will feel better.
