Saturday

The weather - which has been grey and dank - brightened up a bit this afternoon so I ventured into Summertown for some shopping, and also to allay my critics who remind me I grew up in this temperate climate, I need to suck it up, I can't/shouldn't expect to stay indoors until June.

Trump is still in the news here, it has been reported that he has the lowest approval rating of any President in US history;  the Presidents of Mexico, Iran and North Korea must be laughing their socks off.    And watching him alighting from his jet to the Florida White House this afternoon, - seemingly all alone, although presumably there must have been some security detail around -  he certainly seemed to have lost some of his swagger.   And I know the weather is better in Florida than New York but one wonders - or at least I do - why he wouldn't want to join his family for the weekend.  Or maybe they are as hacked off with him as the rest of the nation.

In London thousands of protestors have taken to the streets demanding Theresa May end her 'collusion' with him because of his racist ban on travellers from seven Muslim nations (and his misogyny).  I used to think Theresa May was alright  but you can 'go off' someone.
