Well, well, Even from here I am still avidly following US politics, they're far more interesting than ours. The latest news being that Donald Trump - who can't wait to be sworn in next month - is 'lashing out' at China and chatting to the leadership in Taiwan, causing consternation. Someone should send him a memo to the effect that there can only be one President at a time, he needs to wait, hold his horses - whatever cliché comes to mind.
Mark my words, this is all going to end in tears before Obama even vacates the White House.
So that's my thought for the day on reading this morning's headlines.
I had a good weekend. Tim picked me up on Saturday and after getting a bit of shopping, took me back to have a meal with the family. We watched a most beautiful sunset as we were driving through Oxford, he pulled up so we could watch from a playing field. There are - all over Oxford - lots of green spaces, the colleges all have their own playing fields, it is very pleasant.
